I have an exciting news! Two years ago, internationally renown artist, Lily Lihting Li Kostrzewa and I collaborated on a project. I played pieces by Chinese composer, Tan Dun, Eight Memories in Watercolor, and she created watercolor paintings to the music. It was a great success and we had a lot of fun. Currently, Lily’s art works are in exhibition in Tokyo’s Narita International Airport from 9/19-10/8. Each painting has a QR code underneath so you can hear my playing. Isn’t that cool? Many thanks to technology! If you are in the airport, don’t forget to check them out. Lily did such a wonderful job in depicting the music.
